SAP Functional Consultant - Treasury (S/4HANA) / Global Support Manager

Location: Fully Remote (Open Nationwide)

Start Date: 05/15/2026

Interview: 1 Round - Virtual

Job Summary

seeking a Senior SAP Functional Consultant with strong expertise in Treasury Management, Investment & Debt modules, and S/4HANA implementations . This role will support modernization initiatives, including legacy system migration and S/4HANA upgrades, while working closely with business and technical teams.

Project Overview

Statewide SAP implementation across modules: FI, MM, HR, Payroll, SRM, CRM, Treasury
Focus on:
- S/4HANA upgrade
- Treasury & Investment optimization
- Legacy system retirement
- Reporting & integration enhancements

Key Responsibilities

SAP Functional & Business Analysis

Gather and translate business requirements into functional specifications
Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and analysis sessions
Develop business blueprint documents

SAP Treasury Configuration

Configure and implement:
- Investment Management
- Debt Management
- Cash Management (preferred)
Align SAP solutions with business requirements

Design, Development & Testing

Create functional design specifications
Collaborate with ABAP, BASIS, and technical teams
Develop test cases, scenarios, and support UAT
Manage release and deployment activities

Reporting & Data Integration

Support development of reports and dashboards
Define data extraction strategies from SAP
Ensure data quality and integrity

Integration & Interfaces

Design interfaces with banks, brokers, and financial institutions
Support integration with external systems

Training & Knowledge Transfer

Develop training materials and conduct sessions
Provide knowledge transfer to business and IT teams

Collaboration & Governance

Work closely with:
- SCEIS Team
- SC Office of IT Services (OTIS)
- Business stakeholders
Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and standards

Required Skills

10+ years of SAP implementation experience
Strong expertise in:
- SAP Treasury Management
- Investment & Debt Management
Hands-on experience with S/4HANA implementations
Strong experience in:
- Business blueprint development
- Functional specifications
- Test case creation & training
Knowledge of:
- Reporting & analytics
- Data integration & interfaces

Preferred Skills

Experience in public sector / government projects
Knowledge of Cash Management
Experience integrating with banks/brokers
Strong stakeholder management skills
Master's Degree (preferred)

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field
Experience implementing SAP in:
- 4+ large organizations (mandatory)
- At least 1 public sector organization (required)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate business needs into SAP solutions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments

Additional Information

Fully remote role with occasional coordination with SC teams
Exposure to large-scale S/4HANA transformation
