- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs
- Process cash transactions accurately using cash registers and cash management systems
- Handle cash drawer operations, including balancing registers at shift end and managing cash flow
- Maintain precise data entry records for sales, customer information, and financial transactions using relevant software
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Support the store’s daily operations through retail math calculations, basic banking procedures, and cash handling duties
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or retail store environments with a focus on customer engagement
- Strong cash handling skills, including cashiering, cash drawer management, and processing cash transactions
- Familiarity with retail math, data entry, and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Ability to operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
- Experience in retail sales is a plus but not required
