Job Summary We are offering a sign‑on bonus up to $20.000 for experienced RNs – Night Shift. The Emergency Department at West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton is looking for experienced Emergency Room RNs and experienced acute care nurses who want to grow their careers in Emergency Nursing. Responsibilities To provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients (Adult and Pediatric) utilizing the nursing process at West Boca Medical Center and off site at West Boca Emergency Center. The Registered Nurse also is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Administers and performs specialized nursing care according to assigned unit and treatment for patient. The RN reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record. Qualifications Position Requirements/Qualifications: (including required licensure/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience) Education Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Preferred BSN. Experience Minimum: 24 month Med/Surg experience and successful and/or critical care experience and completion of a critical care training program preferred. Minimum 2 year licensed nursing practice in an Emergency Dept preferred. Other Qualifications: Adult and Pediatric Emergency experience preferred. Successful completion of WBMC Medication test. Successful completion of unit specific test. Demonstrates yearly competencies specific to unit. Required Certification/Licensure/Registration: Current Florida RN License; BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (American Heart Association); TNCC, CEN, ENPC - preferred. Organization Description West Boca Medical Center (WBMC) is part of the Palm Beach Health Network and has been serving southern Palm Beach and northern Broward counties for over 37 years. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state‑of‑the‑art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County. Its two emergency centers, one at the main hospital and the other in Coconut Creek, are open 24‑hours a day.
