Job Opportunity: Physician in Comprehensive Pain & Spine Service

Our organization is a physician-led, accountable multispecialty group practice with over 500 providers, offering an exciting opportunity to join the Comprehensive Pain & Spine Service. We are currently looking for a full-time physician to work at our regional medical center in Boise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the Comprehensive Pain & Spine clinic.
  • Perform interventional Pain & Spine procedures both in-clinic and in-hospital.
  • Adopt a multidisciplinary team approach to patient care.
  • Engage in medical management of patients.
Schedule and Call

The position requires full-time commitment with a weekday schedule. The current call rotation in Boise is 1:6.

Support Team
  • Inpatient Pain APP team.
  • Level II Trauma Center in Boise.
  • Emergency Department support.
  • Two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • Clinical psychology and PM&R services available at the Boise Clinic.
  • In-suite procedure room and dedicated staff.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
  • Completion of an accredited anesthesiology residency program or an accredited physiatry residency program.
  • Board certification through the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Board of Physiatry (ABP), or the ability to obtain such certification within three years of employment.
  • Completion of an interventional spine fellowship.
  • Valid controlled substance registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
  • Preferred: Two years of relevant experience.
  • Must obtain Idaho medical licensure and privileges at the regional medical center and other affiliated hospitals as necessary.
