Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Travel position available for a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech. The shift runs from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The unit has 7 holding beds. Patient ratios are based on staffing availability. The type of equipment used includes GE Innova and Impella. Documentation systems are MacLab and Meditech. Staff is required to schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. On-call requirements for STEMI are approximately 10 to 12 days per month. Self-scheduling is available. Floating policy includes other departments. Advanced skills required include PCI, PFO, and Impella/IABP. Procedures performed in this unit include TAVR, PFOA, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, and DCCV. Surgical scrubs are provided by the facility.
