Finish Carpenter

Finish Carpenter is responsible for putting homes and businesses back together after disaster cleanup is complete. You will execute high-quality finish carpentry, drywall, and structural repairs. Your work directly restores safety, function, and comfort to affected property owners. Key Responsibilities
- Drywall Installation: Hang, tape, mud, sand, and texture drywall to a seamless finish.
- Finish Carpentry: Install baseboards, crown molding, trim, doors, and cabinetry.
- Flooring Installation: Lay down laminate, engineered wood, vinyl plank, and tile.
- Painting: Prep surfaces, prime, and apply interior/exterior paint with professional precision.
- Framing & Structural: Perform light framing, subfloor replacement, and structural repairs.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and safely transport construction materials to job sites.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace during and after repairs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Trade Experience: Proven experience in residential or commercial remodeling and carpentry.
- Tool Proficiency: Masterful use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized trade equipment.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to match existing textures, paint colors, and trim styles seamlessly.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
- Problem Solving: Skill to adapt to unexpected structural layouts and hidden damage.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
Work Environment
- Varied Locations: Work shifts across different residential and commercial properties.
- Customer-Facing: Polite, professional interactions with property owners experiencing stressful situations.
- No winter layoffs.
