Senior Mechanical EngineerEhvert Mission Critical, a business unit within Salas O'Brien, has an opening for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in New York.We are seeking an accomplished Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our mission-critical data center engineering team. In this role, you will provide technical and client leadership on the design, modeling, and coordination of complex mechanical systems for hyperscale and AI-driven data centers across the United States. Your expertise will span HVAC, piping, plumbing, cooling towers, chilled water systems, boilers, and other high-performance infrastructure supporting the world's leading technology clients.As a senior leader on our team, you will oversee all phases of mechanical engineering design and execution - from advanced calculations and technical documentation, to BIM coordination, project delivery, and direct client engagement. You will guide and mentor junior engineers, represent the firm in client meetings, and drive collaboration with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure exceptional project outcomes.This role requires multiple active Professional Engineer (PE) licenses across U.S. states, strong client-facing skills, and the flexibility to travel frequently to project sites nationwide.
