Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Schedule

This position requires night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 12-hour shifts.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process. The RN will adhere to the highest standards of care, ensuring safety and support for both patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal well-being during labor.
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed.
• Support and educate patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in emergency procedures as needed for maternal and newborn safety.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years current Labor and Delivery experience.
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required at the time of profile upload.
• Massachusetts RN License must be uploaded with the application.
• Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for transportation.
