Security Officer - Access Control & Mobile Patrol Lead

Job Title: Security Officer Company: IronRock Security Location: Point Pleasant, NJ Pay Rate: $17.50-18/hour Position Overview: IronRock Security is seeking a reliable and experienced Security Officer to oversee security operations at retail & luxury residential in Point Pleasant, NJ. This role requires a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and prior experience with access control . The guard will help ensure site coverage, support fellow officers, and maintain a safe environment for staff and customers. This is a hands-on leadership role with opportunities for growth within IronRock Security. Responsibilities: Manage and monitor access control points Conduct regular patrols of the residential property Perform occasional mobile patrols as needed Write clear incident and daily activity reports Support scheduling coordination and communicate staffing needs Maintain a professional and customer-friendly presence Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately Requirements: Previous security experience required Access control experience required Valid driver's license (required for periodic mobile patrols) Strong communication and report-writing skills Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Compensation & Benefits: $17.50-18/hour Full-time and part-time opportunities available Medical insurance available to full-time employees working 30+ hours IronRock pays 50% of the employee-only medical premium Benefits begin the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment Dental & Vision insurance available (company contributes to employee rate) 401(k) available after 1 year of employment IronRock matches 10% of employee contributions Supportive team environment and advancement opportunities To Apply: Submit your resume with relevant security and access control experience.
