Pediatric Physical Therapist

Role Overview The Pediatric Physical Therapist evaluates, diagnoses, tests, and treats injuries, diseases, and disabilities in pediatric patients using standard physical therapy procedures. They collaborate with patients and caregivers, providing education, training, and developing personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring physical function, improving mobility, relieving pain, and preventing disability. Key Responsibilities Performing initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions. Creating treatment strategies that include exercises and modalities to enhance flexibility, strength, and endurance. Recommending adaptive equipment and support programs to promote independence. Assessing patients' ability to reintegrate into work or community activities post-treatment. Promoting organizational mission, values, and standards of service. Maintaining documentation and performing additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. At least one year of related clinical experience (preferred). Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
