Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist, Cardiovascular Tech — Lodi, California, United States. This travel assignment starts on 08/17/2026 for 12 weeks at a short-term acute care facility. Weekly pay ranges from $2,276 to $2,315, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is day shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with on-call responsibilities about 50% of the time. This is a travel - temporary assignment with dedicated support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Assist the surgical team in the preparation and conduct of operative procedures in the operating room.
- Create and maintain a sterile field; retract and pass instruments, supplies, and medications to surgeons during cases.
- Maintain supplies and equipment, set up instrumentation, and ensure aseptic technique throughout procedures.
- Perform instrument, sponge, needle and blade counts with the RN and help manage the sterile field.
- Transport patients as scheduled, assist with clerical tasks as needed, and help with general housekeeping of the sterile environment.
- Document case data and support data collection to meet unit standards of care.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Certified Surgery Technician (CST) or Tech in Surgery (TS-C) certification required; CPR/BLS certification required.
- Education: High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s/Technical degree preferred.
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; open-heart scrub experience preferred. Must be able to scrub CV cases, solo or with a second scrub, and take call 50% of the time.
- Nursing license: Current nursing license for the state of assignment.
- Other: Ability to work in a surgical setting, with open-heart experience preferred; RN scrub experience and teaching RN opportunities are a plus.
