Hospitalist Physician Killeen TX
$200–$300/Hour | 2–3 Hour Shifts | Flexible Schedule | APP Support
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our team as a Part-Time Hospitalist at an inpatient post-rehabilitation hospital in Killeen, TX.
This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking for short shifts, flexible scheduling, and strong hourly compensation. The position works particularly well for physicians looking to supplement an existing schedule or work during off weeks.
Schedule & Compensation

• Approximately $200–$300 per hour
• Part-time 2–3-hour shifts Round approximately 3–4 times per week
• Rotational schedule with another physician
• Flexible start and end times
• APP support to assist with daily documentation

What You'll Do

• Round on patients in an inpatient post-rehabilitation setting
• Assist with new admissions
• Evaluate and manage more complex follow-up patients
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Coordinate care with APPs and the interdisciplinary clinical team
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered medical care
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain
• Federal DEA registration
• Texas controlled substance registration or eligibility
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
