Location: Le Center, MN Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 annually Schedule: 2nd Shift | Start Time: 2:30 PM Job Type: Direct Hire
About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading premium dessert manufacturer in Le Center, MN, as they search for a Production Supervisor for their 2nd shift team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing production operations, supporting team members, driving safety and quality initiatives, and ensuring production goals are achieved. What You'll Do:
- Lead, coach, and support production employees while serving as a liaison between hourly associates and plant management
- Drive safety, quality, productivity, sanitation, and waste reduction initiatives while ensuring adherence to company standards
- Coordinate daily production activities, resolve scheduling and equipment issues, and prioritize workflow to meet production goals
- Conduct team huddles, communicate production objectives, and provide training on SOPs, GMPs, and food safety requirements
- Monitor production performance, participate in quality audits, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
What You Need to Bring:
- High school diploma required; technical, engineering, or related education is a plus
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or food manufacturing experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience, or equivalent leadership experience as a team lead
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as needed; bilingual Spanish is a strong plus #SMNCareers
