Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Latrobe, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Our Allied Universal officers in a dynamic technology location conduct routine unarmed patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, offering variety throughout the shift while supporting people and property with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

Pay Rate: $23.69 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support orderly communication with site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, production areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, document observations and/or incidents, and report maintenance, operational, or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
