About Atlas Logistics

Atlas Logistics, a division of Atlas World Group, provides nationwide transportation, freight brokerage, warehousing, white-glove delivery, and supply chain management services. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting freight while delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Summary

Atlas Logistics is seeking professional CDL-A Owner Operators to transport freight safely and efficiently across regional and over-the-road routes. Owner Operators are expected to operate with a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and on-time delivery while representing the Atlas brand.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle.
Pick up and deliver freight according to scheduled routes.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate electronic logs and required paperwork.
Secure cargo according to DOT regulations.
Communicate with dispatch regarding load status and delivery updates.
Provide outstanding customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Follow all FMCSA, DOT, and company safety requirements.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL
Must Own You Own Truck
Current DOT medical certification
Clean driving record
Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background check
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to travel for regional or OTR assignments, depending on fleet

Preferred Qualifications

2 years previous OTR experience
Safe driving history
Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
