Position Overview Join our team as a Senior Clinical Center Associate, where you'll serve as a key resource for scheduling system coordination, staff training, process improvement, and operational efficiency. Your work will directly support clinical teams and help ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care. Responsibilities Performs highly confidential and complex administrative duties as the systems coordinator within the department; manages sensitive compartmented information (SCI) scheduling application Assists in the development, building and implementation of scheduling templates and serves as ambulatory liaison with IT for template modifications Provides training and ongoing development for Clinical Center Associates (CCA's) and other clinical personnel; analyzes and establishes process improvements to optimize billing protocol. Salary The starting hourly rate for this position is $28.55 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. Qualifications Medical Office Assistant Associate's degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or Associate's degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma, completion of an Roswell Park-approved Medical Assistant certificate program and the equivalent of five (5) year of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time administrative support experience in a clinical setting requiring the use of medical terminology; or High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of five (5) year of full-time experience in customer service and successful completion of a Clinical Center Associate traineeship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center (Roswell Park). Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a medical or healthcare setting and be comfortable using medical terminology in daily interactions. Candidates should possess scheduling experience, preferably in a clinical or ambulatory environment, along with exceptional organizational and multitasking skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to providing a positive experience for patients, providers, and staff. Experience coordinating appointments, managing complex schedules, and working effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment is highly desirable. NOTE Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
