Outpatient Infectious Disease Physician

The Regional Center for Infectious Disease (RCID) in Greensboro/Triad, North Carolina, is seeking a fellowship-trained Infectious Disease Physician to join their collaborative and quality-driven team. This role focuses on outpatient infectious disease care within the largest ID practice in Guilford County. The position offers opportunities for clinical excellence, innovation, research, and education in a highly collegial environment. Practice Info * Largest ID practice in Guilford County * Team of six physicians and two nurse practitioners * Focus on outpatient infectious disease care * Serves as a Ryan White HIV/AIDS Clinic (Parts B, C, and D funding) * An ACTG Integral Clinical Research Site * Conducts pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials Responsibilities * Deliver pure infectious disease care in an outpatient setting * Participate in a 1:6 weekend call schedule * Teach IM residents and pharmacy students on ID rotation * Collaborate with infection prevention and antibiotic stewardship * Work closely with an integrated care team * Opportunity to do research and trials Compensation * Competitive compensation package * We help negotiate your salary and contract Benefits * Competitive benefits package Shift & Schedule * Monday - Friday schedule with 1:6 weekend call Requirements * Fellowship trained Infectious Disease Physician * 2026 and 2027 fellows invited to apply * No visa sponsorship available
