Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three shifts per week with every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered care for antepartum patients with medical conditions throughout the labor and delivery process
• Support and manage patients during vaginal and Cesarean-section births, ensuring safe outcomes for mother and newborn
• Deliver postpartum care to patients and their newborns following delivery
• Care for patients with gynecological conditions in alignment with established clinical protocols
• Collaborate on an interdisciplinary level, communicating effectively and adapting interactions to each patient's intellectual level and physical ability

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring certification (AWHONN) required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in postpartum nursing in addition to or in place of Labor and Delivery experience
• Ability and flexibility to work up to 48 hours per week as needed
