University of Colorado Denver Business School Lecturer in Business Analytics The University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus, seeks a pool of part‑time Lecturers (less than 50% FTE) in Business Analytics to teach semester‑by‑semester classes in the Business School. The pool will remain active through August 2021; applicants may reapply to future pools thereafter. Summary Lecturers selected from this pool will teach three‑credit‑hour courses in a range of delivery modes (in‑person, hybrid, online, remote). Duties • Deliver and tailor instruction to learners from diverse language and cultural backgrounds in accordance with prescribed curricular objectives. • Prepare rigorous balanced lesson plans ahead of each class. • Assess student progress based on curricular outcomes. • Adhere to program policies and procedures, including reporting student offenses such as plagiarism, cheating, and absences. Salary and Benefits Compensation will range from $4,915 to $5,360 per semester, based on course level and experience. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Master’s or higher degree in Operations Research, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Management, or a closely related field. At least five years of significant professional, technical, or managerial experience in a discipline related to the teaching assignment. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience teaching courses in Statistics, Operations Management, Operations Research, or other analytics‑focused subjects.
