Job Title: Electronics Technician Job Description

We are seeking Electronics Technicians to support the micro assembly of advanced electronic components. The role involves precision assembly, inspection, and alignment of laser diode parts under a microscope, handling components as small as 1 mm to 250 microns. This position requires a steady hand-eye coordination and acute attention to detail in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect electronic components and laser diode subassemblies.
• Handle and align microscopic parts using microscopes and precision tools.
• Perform fine wire bonding and assembly modifications.
• Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and technical drawings.
• Conduct inspections, document results, and report any defects.

Essential Skills

• Experience in microscope assembly and inspection.
• Ability to handle small/micro components with strong attention to detail.
• Manual dexterity and ability to follow SOPs, work instructions, and drawings.
• Experience in cleanroom and ESD environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with wire bonding.
• Background in semiconductor, photonics, or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience in quality inspection and documentation.
• Familiarity with precision assembly and alignment tools.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment with prolonged use of microscopes and precision tools. Be prepared to sit for extended periods while performing detailed assembly work. Choose from multiple shifts: A Shift: Mon-Wed, Alternating Sundays (7am to 7pm); B Shift: Thursday-Sat, Alt Sundays (7am to 7pm); A Overnight Mon - Wed, Alt Sundays (7pm to 7am) with a differential; B Overnight, Alt Sundays (7pm to 7am) with a differential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sugar Land, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $35.00/hr.
