About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Accounting to provide strategic leadership and oversight of its operational accounting functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing a large team of professionals across billing and receivables operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, and maintaining strong operational accounting controls in compliance with industry regulations. This role also involves evaluating and improving current processes, leading initiatives to streamline month-end close processes, and partnering with executive leadership to assess department structure and long-term scalability. Applicants for the Vice President of Accounting position at the company should have a background in progressive accounting experience, with a preference for those who have worked within the insurance industry.
