Overview
Ultrasound Technologist (Travel) – Ultrasound Tech | Everett, WA | Start: 08/31/2026 | Duration: 8 weeks | Weekly pay: $1,804–$1,944 per week | Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks | Shift: 3x12 Nights | Facility type: Level II Trauma Center hospital. This travel assignment supports inpatient, ED, IR, and outpatient imaging services and requires the ability to float to a nearby campus for STAT exams as needed. ARDMS and BLS certification are required, and a compact state license must be in hand at submission.

Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound imaging across abdominal, OB/GYN/fetal surveys, neonatal/pediatric imaging, small parts (breast/thyroid/testicular), vascular/renal/aorta, and portable/ED/IR exams
- Operate ultrasound equipment, ensure patient safety, proper positioning, and image optimization
- Document findings in the electronic medical record (Epic) and communicate results to interpreting physicians
- May float to the sister campus (~2 miles away) for STAT exams; adapt to patient flow and staffing needs
- Maintain sterile technique, infection control, and equipment safety; contribute to quality assurance and patient comfort

Requirements
- Active ARDMS and BLS certifications required
- Compact state license must be in hand at submission
- Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience; community hospital experience preferred
- Trauma Level I experience required
- Preferred: ARDMS in Abdominal/Musculoskeletal and OB/GYN; ARRT (Sonography) preferred
- On-site imaging skills: Abdominal, OB/GYN/fetal surveys, neonatal/pedi imaging, small parts, vascular/renal/aorta, portable/ED/IR exams
- Proficiency with Epic charting; ability to work nights and handle high-acuity patient populations
- Float to a nearby campus may be required; willingness to work 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)
- Orientation: ~40 hours; pre-approved time off of 1 shift per contract
- Onboarding modules (~16 hours average) prior to start
