Job Title: Registered Nurse Clinical Supervisor Reports to: Director of Patient Care Services Location: Sacramento and surrounding areas - In Person Salary: $100k-$110k annual + Bonus potential Job Description Summary As an RN Clinical Supervisor with First Place Pediatrics, you will be responsible for managing the care plans of patients from admission through discharge and for maintaining quality patient care. The position combines direct and indirect care and directs staff nurses, LVNs, CHHAs. First Place Pediatric Solutions, LLC. will make reasonable accommodations to "otherwise qualified individuals." Main Duties and Responsibilities Comprehensive Patient Assessment and Care Management (30% of Time): Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop & manage care plans, implement interventions aligned with patient goals and diagnoses. Documentation and Communication (30% of Time): Maintain timely and accurate documentation, communicate with physicians, caregivers, and healthcare team, report patient status changes and recommendations. Patient and Family Education (15% of Time): Counsel and educate patients, families, caregivers on care needs, processes, and treatment plans. Team Leadership & Supervision (15% of Time): Assign, supervise, mentor staff, participate in training & professional development, serve as preceptor. Compliance & Quality Assurance (10% of Time): Ensure adherence to legal & compliance standards, participate in quality improvement, support HIPAA policies. Additional Expectations Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures including, but not limited to the Compliance Program: Code of Conduct, HIPAA and Documentation Standards. Maintain a commitment to the values and mission of First Place Pediatrics, LLC. Experience / Education / Certification Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferred, in nursing or other health‑related field. Registered nurse with current licensure to practice in the state. Minimum of one year of experience as an RN; current CPR certification. Prior use of Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) preferred. Licensed driver with a insured, functional automobile in good working order. Skills / Abilities Comprehensive understanding of nursing standards, including Medicare Conditions of Participation and regulations. Strong observation skills and sound nursing judgment for assessing patients. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical endurance to manage tasks over extended work. Ability and flexibility to travel to various patient locations as needed. Work Environment / Demands of the Position Travel (up to 33% of time): Must be able to commute to patient homes in service areas. Physical Demand: Seldom (up to 33%): Standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, pushing/pulling/lifting up to 50 lbs. Often (33-66%): Typing, gripping, driving personal vehicle. Nearly Continuously (>66%): Sitting, viewing computer, operating equipment. Mental Demand: Moderate to high concentration due to volume, complexity, or pressure.
