Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and slicing tools
• Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic workspace
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, braising, poaching, grilling, and food handling
• Support menu planning by suggesting new pizza toppings or creative presentation ideas
• Ensure adherence to recipe guidelines and portion control during meal preparation
• Collaborate with team members to manage high-volume production during peak hours and catering events

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially with pizza or similar cuisine
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques including braising, poaching, grilling, and food safety management
• Knowledge of dietary aide practices and dietary department experience preferred
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitization
• Excellent food handling skills with a focus on quality control and recipe adherence
• Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering services is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-volume production settings while maintaining attention to detail
