Compensation and Schedule

Pay Range: $45.90 - $51.20 per hour, depending on prior experience.

Schedule: PRN (as needed)

What You Bring (Requirements)

• A minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology, along with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or equivalent experience of at least one year working with adults and children with neurological disorders affecting language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Ability to work independently within the department.
• A valid Speech Pathology license in the applicable state or actively working towards the required supervisory experience for licensure.
• Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration.
• Preferred membership in the Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation.

Your Responsibilities

The Speech Therapist will:

• Provide timely therapy to clients as per physician orders.
• Communicate client progress within the agency.
• Evaluate and treat clients, liaising with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members while maintaining accurate documentation of services.
• Develop effective treatment plans based on physician requests and secure approval for services.
• Initiate prescribed treatments and update physicians on client progress.
• Ensure proper documentation in compliance with state, federal, and third-party payer regulations.
• Adhere to the Speech-Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
• Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

We have a dedicated team of nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and home health aides focused on delivering personalized healthcare with compassion and empathy. We specialize in caring for older adults, providing in-home health services across Delta, Montrose, and Ouray counties.

Experience Preferred

At least one year of experience working with adults and children with neurological disorders, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.

Education Required

A master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.

Licenses & Certifications Required

Speech Therapist license.
