Title: Plasma Material Handling Associate Operator

• Will be handling raw plasma/blood products.
• Manager is looking to move quickly.
• Immediate availability is highly desirable .
• 3 openings on day 8 hr. shift, M-F, 5:30am-2pm
• 4 openings on weekend, 12 hr. shift, Fri-Sun, 6am – 6pm (Shift : 36 hours/week, with potential to pick up additional shifts)
  Description:
  We are seeking Plasma Material Handling Associate Operators to support plasma receiving, storage, inventory control, and material movement at a Plasma Logistics Center in Clayton, NC.
  This position is responsible for receiving raw plasma shipments from donor centers, maintaining accurate inventory, moving materials throughout freezer and warehouse locations, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOP, OSHA, and EHS requirements.
  The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment, operating material-handling equipment, following detailed procedures, and working in extremely cold freezer conditions.
  Key Responsibilities
• Unload incoming plasma shipments and identify, sort, and process different types of plasma.
• Enter plasma receipts and inventory information into the Plasma Management System (SGP).
• Inspect crates, pallets, and other equipment for damage and determine suitability for use.
• Use Radio Frequency Terminal (RFT) equipment to track and control inventory throughout freezer and warehouse locations.
• Locate and retrieve plasma from freezer work orders.
• Identify and remove unsuitable plasma units from processed production units and consolidated lots.
• Support the Classification area by managing rejected or relocated plasma.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and cGMP-compliant work environment.
• Follow all company policies, SOPs, cGMP, OSHA, and EHS requirements.
• Work occasional overtime and/or additional shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, warehouse, or another FDA-regulated industry preferred.
• Experience working with cGMPs and industry standards preferred.
• Experience reading and following SOPs and written procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to repeatedly lift 25–50 lbs. throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in freezer temperatures of -30&degree;C (-22&degree;F) or colder .
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while following detailed instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Ability to interpret and follow written procedures.
