# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Nurse – Texas**Start Date:** September 1, 2026 **Location:** San Antonio, Texas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Multiple shifts available including days, mids, and nights; weekend availability as needed; no on-call required**Highlights:**- 19-bed Emergency Department including 13 beds plus fast track area with 6 chairs- Patient ratios of 1:4 for general ED, 1:6 for fast track/low acuity patients- Collaborative team environment with 40 total staff members including charge nurses, RNs, and support staff- Meditech EMR system with modern equipment including portable EKG, vital machines, transport monitors, and Belmont rapid transfuser- Typical procedures include triage, medication administration, splinting, and advanced IV placement- Navy blue scrubs provided**Requirements:**- Active RN license in Texas or ability to obtain- Previous Emergency Department experience required- Current TNCC, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required- Ultrasound guided IV experience preferred- Team-oriented personality with friendly, can-do attitude**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This Emergency Department role offers the chance to work with a dedicated team of 40 professionals in a well-equipped facility serving diverse patient populations.
