Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: PCU skill competency Description: Facility requires candidates with charge experience. Unit information includes 19 beds with a diverse staff. Day shift consists of 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 2 PCTs. Night shift is similar with 1 charge nurse, 5 nurses, and 2 PCTs. Patient ratios are 4-5 patients per nurse. The unit utilizes EMR, specifically Meditech. Desired candidates should possess neuro competency. Various typical procedures are performed on the unit. Candidates must demonstrate a strong team-oriented personality. Dressing code requires royal blue scrubs for nurses and maroon for PCTs. Rotating weekends are required. This position necessitates adaptability and flexibility.
