Registered Behavioral Technician

We are hiring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students with autism and behavioral needs across multiple school buildings within the county for the upcoming school year.

Location: Delaware County, PA

Position Overview
This role supports students with autism and behavioral needs across multiple school buildings within the county. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) will be part of a flexible district-wide bench, deployed based on behavioral, clinical, and programmatic needs. RBTs work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and collaborate with school staff to implement behavior intervention plans and support student skill development.

Assignments may occur in any building and may shift as student needs change.

Work Schedule
Standard school-day schedule (approx. 7-7.5 hours/day)

This role requires:

• Strong data tracking and documentation
• Consistent implementation of behavioral strategies
• Professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized BIPs
• Provide 1:1 or small-group behavioral support
• Collect accurate behavioral data
• Support skill acquisition programs
• Use de-escalation and behavior-management strategies
• Collaborate with BCBAs, teachers, and special education teams
• Support students during transitions, instruction, and crisis situations
• Maintain strict confidentiality

Requirements

• Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred)
• Experience with autism or behavioral-support settings (preferred)
