Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:

Seeking a experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a medical-surgical setting, primarily on a cardiac unit with occasional floating to other Med-Surg units. The role requires familiarity with telemetry, strong clinical skills, and proficiency in Epic electronic medical records.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Administer patient care in the cardiac unit and other Med-Surg areas, ensuring safety and comfort.
  
  
• 
  Monitor telemetry readings, interpret data, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document all patient interactions and clinical activities accurately within Epic EMR.
  
  
• 
  Maintain clinical competency through ongoing assessment of skills, particularly in telemetry and Epic usage.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital protocols, policies, and safety standards consistently.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess a valid RN license and current BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Have a minimum of 3 years of recent telemetry and/or step-down nursing experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR documentation and navigation.
  
  
• 
  Be able to read telemetry strips and interpret patient data effectivelycompetency will be tested on day one.
  
  
• 
  Be available for a start date of October 19, 2026, if not returning within 9 months as a traveler.
  
  
• 
  Maintain flexibility to float between various Med-Surg units as needed.
