Registered Nurse (RN)

An exciting opportunity awaits for nurses wanting to work in the dynamic environment of Diagnostic Imaging. Our team specializes in delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing various imaging procedures, including CT scans, MRIs, Nuclear Medicine scans, X-rays, ultrasounds, and Interventional Radiology (IR).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Assist in patient assessments and medical history documentation.
• Ensure effective communication with patients and their families regarding procedures and care.
• Collaborate with imaging technologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care.
• Practice critical thinking skills in assessing and responding to patient needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Diagnostic Imaging experience.
• Telemetry experience is required.
• Must possess a valid New York RN license.

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Work Environment

The position requires wearing hospital-issued and laundered scrub pants and tops, as well as adhering to infection prevention protocols when necessary in procedural areas. This role involves a 40-hour work week with a schedule that includes days and evenings, as well as occasional weekends, but no holiday or night shifts.
