Quality Inspector Job Details
Schedule : Full-Time, 6AM-2:30PM
Pay Rate : $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Location : Wilmington, OH
Quality Inspector Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three years of manufacturing, quality, or inspection experience preferred
- Proficient math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and converting fractions to decimals
- Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules when required
As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting raw materials, components, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications
- Performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections throughout the production cycle
- Using inspection plans, engineering drawings, and work instructions to evaluate product quality
- Documenting inspection results and maintaining accurate quality records
- Identifying and reporting non-conforming materials and products
- Preparing non-conformance reports and other quality documentation as required
- Utilizing measuring devices and inspection equipment to verify dimensional and performance standards
- Reviewing product requirements and comparing them against finished products for quality evaluation
- Supporting quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
