Senior Project Manager – K-12 Bond Program

Location: Dallas–North Texas Area, TX

ICMS Program Management (ICMS) is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support a major K-12 school district bond program in the Dallas–North Texas area. This is a high-visibility opportunity to oversee educational facility construction, renovations, modernization, and capital improvement projects that directly support students, educators, and surrounding communities.

In this role, you will serve as an owner's representative and construction management professional, working closely with district leadership, contractors, school administrators, design teams, public agencies, and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership, construction administration expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations.

Job Requirements

• Lead day-to-day design and construction management activities across multiple projects and campus sites within the district's bond program.
• Serve as a primary point of coordination between district representatives, contractors, design teams, campus personnel, agencies, and project stakeholders.
• Communicate professionally with school administrators, staff, contractors, inspectors, and members of the public.
• Monitor construction progress, contractor performance, project schedules, budgets, quality expectations, and field coordination.
• Identify potential project issues early, document progress, and facilitate timely resolution of construction and non-conformance items.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project reports, documenting construction progress, observations, activities, issues, and follow-up items.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings, progress meetings, coordination meetings, punch list reviews, and project closeout activities.
• Review construction documents, submittals, RFIs, schedules, change orders, and field conditions for general conformance with project requirements.
• Support schedule tracking, budget management, documentation control, cost monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
• Oversee construction activities in occupied and operational school environments while minimizing disruption to campus operations.
• Coordinate with utility providers, inspectors, municipal agencies, third-party consultants, vendors, and specialty contractors as needed.

Preferred Background

• Experience supporting K-12 school district bond programs, educational facilities, or public-sector capital improvement programs.
• Previous experience serving as an owner's representative or construction management consultant for public-sector clients.
• Familiarity with municipal permitting, inspections, and agency coordination throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth / North Texas region.
• Proven ability to manage new construction, renovations, modernization, and capital improvement projects, including work in occupied facilities.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining oversight of schedules, budgets, and construction quality.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred; equivalent construction management experience may be considered.
• 5–10+ years of experience in project management, construction management, or a related role supporting commercial, institutional, public-sector, or K-12 educational facility projects.
• Experience working as an owner's representative within a design and construction environment preferred.
• Strong communication, client relationship management, problem-solving, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-project environment while representing ICMS with professionalism, sound judgment, and accountability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction/project management software platforms.
• Professional certifications or registrations such as CCM, PMP, PE, or Registered Architect are a plus.
