Job Description Job Description Mission Recruiting is partnering with a Southern California plaintiff-side law firm to identify an Employment Litigation Associate Attorney seeking meaningful courtroom experience and hands-on litigation responsibility. This role offers immediate exposure to depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and trial preparation while working alongside experienced litigators committed to mentorship and professional development. What You'll Do Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial materials Take and defend depositions Appear in court and argue motions Support mediation, arbitration, and settlement efforts Assist with trial preparation and second-chair responsibilities Qualifications Active California Bar membership At least 1 year of civil litigation experience Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills Ability to work independently within a collaborative environment Employment law experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $130,000–$180,000+ Professional development and mentorship opportunities Medical, dental, vision, retirement, and bar-related benefits Hybrid schedule based in Irvine with three to four in-office days and one-two remote days weekly.
