Bookkeeper
Location: Mount Vernon, NY - full-time in office
Hours: part-time
Compensation: $20-$35/hr

Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper out of their Mount Vernon office. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports for management, and recording a wide range of financial transactions. The duties include confirming the accuracy of accounting database information, posting financial transactions, preparing voucher packages, and running reports.

Responsibilities:

• Perform the day-to-day processing of accounts receivable transactions.
• Review and verify invoices and support documents for all orders.
• Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Data entry.
• Process daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly summary reports.
• Account Analysis reports.
• Prepare invoices for mailing.
• Maintain customer records.
• Maintain a filing system for all documents.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files.
• Perform other diverse duties as requested or required.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Accounts Receivable/Bookkeeping experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, HS Diploma/GED required.
• Experience with Excel is preferred.
