Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific access control procedures, credential verification requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points for employees, contractors, visitors, and deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access through badge checks, visitor processing, and vehicle screening.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to site access, incidents, alarms, and unusual activity, while communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting evacuation procedures, restricted area control, and other security-related responses as directed by site policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, gates, and restricted areas, with attention to security-related concerns that may arise in an industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
