We are looking for a Billing Analyst to join a logistics organization in Wilmington, California in an on-site, contract role with the potential to become permanent. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven setting and can manage billing activity with precision and consistency. The position focuses on invoice processing, payment-related coordination, and maintaining accurate records that support efficient billing operations.

Responsibilities:
• Manage a large volume of invoices while ensuring entries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Examine billing details and supporting records to confirm charges, rates, and documentation are correct before submission.
• Investigate invoice issues, correct discrepancies, and follow through with the appropriate parties to reach timely resolution.
• Partner with internal departments to gather missing information and clarify billing-related questions that impact processing.
• Maintain organized billing files and supporting documentation for easy tracking, reference, and audit readiness.
• Use Excel to monitor billing activity, prepare reports, and manage data needed for reconciliation and status updates.
• Support accounts receivable processes by helping track outstanding billing items and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Provide additional administrative assistance related to billing operations as business needs require.• Previous billing experience within the logistics or transportation industry is required.
• Demonstrated success handling high-volume invoicing in a fast-paced work environment.
• Strong working knowledge of billing functions and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and data management.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and maintain accurate records.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and time management skills.
• Availability to work on-site in Wilmington, California.
• Experience with systems such as Aderant or Costpoint is a plus.
