Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, with travel experience considered for candidates with 1 year of experience. Candidates must have a cleared Iowa SING background check, including criminal and child abuse portions. All background checks from counties and states must be cleared prior to starting. Drug tests must include a 10-panel screening that covers opiates. Titers for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB must be current within the last 12 months. The nurse will float within the hospital to other units as necessary. The unit provides individualized, seamless care to patients and support to families. The active labor patient ratio is 1:1, while couplet care is 3:1. Equipment includes intermediate fetal monitoring and electronic health records. The supervisor for this position is responsible for oversight of nursing staff. Candidates should demonstrate a strong fit for a collaborative team environment.
