Warehouse Operative

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the receiving, handling, delivering and stocking merchandise while using handheld technology. The Warehouse Specialist uses power operated equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. The position includes work from elevated platforms and confined spaces. Basic Qualifications: Operate electric pallet jacks, stand up forklifts, and aerial work platforms (AWP) Successfully complete all required training, including the use of industrial trucks (such as forklifts and Power Pallet Jacks) and safety training such as HAZMAT and Safety in Motion Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs over the course of a shift Experience using technologies such as Wi-Fi handheld devices and computers Work in sustained hot or cold temperatures over the course of a shift Follow directions, both written and verbal, and work at a sustained pace throughout your shift Bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist to manage inventory Team player with a positive attitude Strong customer service skills Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license Required Education: High school diploma or GED Additional Information: At Walt Disney World, we are makers and doers!
