Site Security Supervisor – Dexcom Corporation You’ll join a team that builds a modern, proactive security program rooted in strategy, prevention, collaboration, and service. The role is leadership‑focused and partnership‑oriented, safeguarding a mission‑driven organization while supporting cross‑functional teams. Responsibilities Oversee daily physical security operations, guard force management, lobby operations, patrols, and access control oversight. Conduct daily walkthroughs and safety inspections across lobbies, parking areas, interiors, exteriors, and high‑risk zones, identifying hazards and coordinating corrective actions with Facilities and EHSS. Manage onboarding/offboarding of contracted security staff, validate training compliance, maintain rosters, and ensure proper access provisioning and deactivation. Lead daily or shift‑start briefings, perform spot checks on guard performance, and ensure posts are staffed and supported with required equipment. Coordinate on‑site emergency response, act as the incident lead, and liaise with law enforcement, fire, and EMS when needed. Support HR/ER investigations by reviewing CCTV, extracting access logs, building timelines, and documenting incidents while maintaining confidentiality. Plan and execute security support for on‑site events, ensuring appropriate staffing, access controls, emergency readiness, and a post‑event debrief. Monitor incident trends, maintain logs, and compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on incidents, KPIs, staffing, risks, and corrective actions. Continuously review physical security procedures for assigned Dexcom locations to ensure industry best practices and appropriate mitigation strategies. Qualifications Strong leadership skills and the ability to guide contracted guard staff through clear expectations, coaching, accountability, and daily operational support. Solid understanding of physical security operations, access control systems, CCTV usage, incident documentation, and compliance standards. Effective communication across functions, engaging with Facilities, HR, EHSS, IT, site leadership, and external responders. Proactive risk identification, incident trend analysis, and implementation of preventive or corrective actions. Calm under emergency situations, quick decision‑making, and confident on‑site response leadership. Detail‑oriented, ensuring accuracy in logs, pass‑downs, training records, badge management, and audit documentation. Strong vendor relationship management, ensuring high performance, adherence to standards, and alignment with Dexcom expectations. Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can adapt to evolving staffing, operational, and site needs. Minimum of three years’ experience overseeing security personnel, contracted guard forces, or comparable frontline operational teams in the private sector. Active membership in relevant security communities (e.g., ASIS) to stay current on best practices, emerging threats, and industry standards. Bachelor’s degree and 5–8 years of industry experience, with informal management/team‑lead experience. Travel 5–15% required.
