Quality Assurance ManagerAs the Quality Assurance Manager, you will act as a liaison between Operations, Process Engineering, Technical, and Customer facing teams (Account Manager and Optima team) in quality related inquiries and investigations. You will work onsite in Cleveland, OH and report to the Plant Manager.PPG offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.Main Responsibilities:Maintain and improve existing Quality Management System (QMS) and certificates and ensure QMS requirements are reflected and implemented in the product realization process.Ensure customer specific requirements (CSRs and Supplier Quality Manual requirements) are integrated into the QMS and consistently metEnsure consistent measurement and reporting of site quality performance within the organizationLead internal and external quality incident investigations (off spec situations, customer complaints, SCAR) and related communication in a timely and effective manner, ensure defined corrective actions are effectively implemented and problem resolution is done in a systemic way.Drive data driven site quality improvement programs to improve yield/productivity cost of non-conformance and customer complaints performance.Facilitate/lead in-house customer and supplier visits.Support and troubleshoot data systems including SAP, LIMS, and ETQ RelianceOwner of the site internal audit program (planning and execution) and the site document control systemCollaborate with technical, Optima and R&D teams to drive quality improvement in first right capability.Gate keeper in site level quality MOC, and New Product LaunchesProvide quality, training, leadership and coaching for the site and promote quality cultureQualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or related field5+ years of quality management experience, preferred in automotive industry3+ years of people management or supervisory experienceCertified Lead Auditor (IATF; VDA preferred)Six Sigma Green Belt certificationProficiency in English (written and verbal)Demonstrated knowledge of automotive core tools (FMEA, SPC, CP, APQP)The pay range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 annually.About us: PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD™Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
