Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to deliver care from the comfort of your home while connecting with patients through telehealth platforms. Our virtual workspace is equipped with state-of-the-art technology to facilitate seamless communication with both patients and team members. You'll have the flexibility to schedule your work around patient needs while maintaining a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts if required. Our supportive team dynamic enables you to engage in regular virtual meetings that promote professional growth and collaborative care planning.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, integrating the patient's medical history to inform treatment planning and ensure comprehensive care.

  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that address both psychiatric and medical needs, facilitating ongoing patient engagement in their own care.

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness approaches.

  • Collaborate closely with medical providers to ensure coordinated care, actively participating in case conferences and interdisciplinary meetings.

  • Provide crisis intervention for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and support strategies.

  • Educate patients about the interrelation between mental health and physical well-being, enhancing their understanding and promoting self-management strategies.

  • Maintain precise and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
