About the Position

Locums Neurological Surgery coverage in Florida with a steady monthly commitment and a mix of outpatient clinic, OR, and call. Ongoing need for 5 to 7 days per month supporting both adult and pediatric patients.

Highlights

• Ongoing coverage need, 5 to 7 days per month
• Mix of outpatient clinic, OR coverage, and call
• Level II trauma center, level 2 pediatrics coverage
• Call includes assigned and unassigned patients, no admits

Practice Setting

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient neurosurgery coverage
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Support staff includes 2 RNs, 2 MAs, and 5 APPs
• Volume varies, Level II trauma center with level 2 peds

Schedule

• ASAP ongoing need due to long term permanent search
• Target coverage of 5 to 7 days per month including clinic, OR, and call
• Weeknight and weekend call required with 30 minute response time
• Scheduled hours are TBD

Requirements

• Must be an MD or DO
• Board Certified in Neurological Surgery
• Florida license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only, Open to IMLC Physicians
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
