Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough evaluations and mental health assessments to better understand clients' challenges, formulate tailored treatment plans, and adapt strategies as necessary. Engage in individual therapy sessions, utilizing proven therapeutic techniques to promote self-awareness and personal development in clients. Establish collaborative therapeutic goals in partnership with clients and monitor their progress regularly to ensure alignment with their needs and objectives. Provide excellent teletherapy services to individuals facing mobility challenges or preferring virtual sessions for any reason. Maintain ethical and comprehensive documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to uphold the highest standards in professional practice. Participate actively in continuous professional development opportunities to stay current on clinical advancements and enhance therapeutic skills. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will be equipped to work with a diverse client population, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including relationship dynamics, family systems, trauma recovery, anxiety disorders, and depressive states. Qualifications Current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Massachusetts. A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to establish trust and rapport within therapeutic relationships. A deep sense of empathy and a nonjudgmental approach to clients’ experiences, contributing to a safe therapeutic environment. Strong organizational skills and time management abilities, essential for managing caseloads and adhering to administrative responsibilities. Preferred Experience Experience in teletherapy or remote counseling settings is highly preferred, facilitating familiarity with virtual platforms. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly those effective for marriage and family therapy. Background working with clients facing addiction and related issues will be a beneficial aspect of your skill set. Compensation and Benefits Competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000, dependent on experience and credentials.
