Field Service Technician

Field Service Technician – Brenton Division ProMach is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide professional service and training support for Brenton products and systems. The role reports to the Field Service Manager. Responsibilities Assist customer personnel with installation, start‑up and training of Brenton machines and systems. Provide technical service support when customers’ machines are not performing. Communicate accurate updates to the Engineering Department regarding any changes made to machines in the field. Participate in final checkout of machines to ensure readiness for shipment. Maintain mechanical and electrical competence, including the ability to edit PLC and HMI programs. Operate and troubleshoot all three Brenton product lines: case packers, shrink wrappers, and Fanuc robots and controllers. Qualifications Mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting skills. Experience working with Rockwell PLCs and HMIs, navigating and editing PLC and HMI programs. Fanuc robot experience and certification desirable (2–4 years of field experience). Professional communication, positive attitude and polished image. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced production environment.
