Civil Estimator

Location: Fort Myers, FL Employment Type: Full-time EHC, Inc. is a Southwest Florida-based heavy civil contractor specializing in earthwork, site development, road construction, and infrastructure projects. We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator to join our growing team. Essential duties and responsibilities Explore documentation to gain a deep understanding of the project requirements Select, measure and track important metrics Visit sites, attend meetings and other venues necessary to do the estimate Perform complex analysis of collected data and metrics Prepare relevant and reliable forecasts Conduct complex risk analysis activities Create and present reports to upper management Analyze and evaluate vendor proposals Build and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors Put together competitive, responsible bids Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience estimating heavy civil or site development projects. Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, and bid documents. Experience performing earthwork takeoffs. Proficiency with Agtek or similar digitizing software preferred. Experience with Hard Dollar, HCSS HeavyBid, Timberline, or comparable estimating software preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant industry experience will be considered. Training may be provided for the right candidate.
