Locum Tenens July 2026 Start

WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment beginning in July 2026. This opportunity offers a combination of weekday clinical coverage and call responsibilities with the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment.

• Coverage Type: Locum Tenens
• Commitment: Minimum 3-week assignment
• Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
• Call: Weeknight call (3:00 PM 7:00 AM) and 24-hour offsite beeper call on weekends
• Setting: Hospital-Based Anesthesia Services
• Onsite Requirement: Yes
• Credentialing Timeframe: Less than 30 days

This assignment provides the opportunity to practice in a collaborative surgical environment with a manageable case mix and a streamlined credentialing process. The facility operates two operating rooms and serves an adult patient population.

Clinical responsibilities include providing anesthesia care for a variety of routine surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and gynecology, gastroenterology, and occasional cardiac catheterization lab procedures. The majority of cases are orthopedic and general surgery. There is no cardiac or neurosurgical anesthesia required.

Providers will participate in weekday clinical coverage as well as evening, overnight, and weekend call. Weekend call is handled remotely via offsite beeper.

• Active Arizona CRNA License (must be in hand at the time of presentation)
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• Minimum availability of three consecutive weeks
• Willingness to participate in call coverage

• Adult patient population
• Two operating rooms
• General surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, GI, and occasional Cath Lab cases
• No cardiac or neurosurgical cases
• Less than 30-day credentialing process
• Full travel expenses covered
