Job Summary:
Seeking a Sterile Processing Tech responsible for sterilizing and processing surgical instruments to ensure patient safety and instrument readiness. The role involves maintaining high standards of infection control and adhering to established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to hospital policies.
• Inspect, assemble, and package instruments for sterilization.
• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles and procedures.
• Follow infection control guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sterile Processing Tech or in a similar role.
• Valid certification or registration in sterile processing or central sterile, if required by state or facility.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control practices, and relevant equipment.
• Ability to follow strict safety and safety protocols.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
