Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU)

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT Must-Have: - Experience with Adult Critical Care and Pediatrics - Skills in high-risk delivery assistance, intubation, and mechanical ventilation management Description: Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of experience in a related field. The unit does not accept CRT certifications. Weekend shifts will be required every other week. No on-call duty is expected. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required as needed. If assigned major holidays occur during the contract period, the traveler is expected to work those days. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. Compliance with onboarding requirements must be met to start on time. Both locals and travelers are accepted for this position. The candidate will undergo a clinical review to determine fit and will then be submitted for final decision. RTO (Requested Time Off) must be finalized at the time of submission, with a maximum of 7 days off per contract. If three major holidays occur during the assignment, only one holiday RTO may be considered. Full compliance is required with all onboarding documents due prior to the start date. This position encompasses a variety of patient age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults. The selected candidate will manage patient care within a supportive interdisciplinary team environment.
