Automotive Detailer – Honor GMCLocation: National City, CADealership: Honor GMCPosition: Automotive DetailerEmployment: Full-TimeJoin the Honor GMC TeamHonor GMC is looking for a dependable, hardworking Automotive Detailer to join our team in National City. This position is responsible for ensuring our new, used, and customer vehicles are cleaned and presented to dealership standards.We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the details, and understands that the condition and presentation of a vehicle are an important part of the customer experience.ResponsibilitiesWash, dry, vacuum, and detail new and used vehiclesWash and dry service vehiclesClean vehicle interiors, including carpets, seats, dashboards, windows, and other surfacesPerform exterior detailing, including washing, waxing, polishing, and buffing as neededPrepare new and used vehicles for delivery to customersDetail vehicles for the sales and service departmentsRemove stickers, residue, stains, debris, and other materials as necessaryInspect completed vehicles to ensure they meet dealership cleanliness and presentation standardsSafely operate dealership and customer vehiclesMaintain detailing equipment, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized conditionPromptly report vehicle damage or other concerns to managementFollow dealership safety procedures and properly use cleaning chemicals and equipmentAssist with lot and vehicle preparation as neededPerform other duties as assigned by managementQualificationsAutomotive detailing or dealership experience preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learnStrong attention to detailDependable attendance and punctualityAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environmentAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyAbility to safely operate both automatic and manual equipment used in vehicle detailingValid driver's license and acceptable driving record requiredAbility to safely drive and maneuver vehicles on dealership propertyAbility to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, and working around vehicles for extended periodsAbility to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions as requiredWhat We're Looking ForWe want someone who takes ownership of their work.
